We are not a pool safety inspector, certifier, builder or law firm, and nothing on this site is building advice, legal advice, or a compliance determination for your pool. Rules change and vary by state, council and pool construction date — always confirm requirements with a licensed inspector, your council or your state regulator before acting.
The referral service
When you submit an enquiry, we may pass it to licensed pool safety inspectors, certifiers or fencing operators servicing your area, who may pay us for the referral. Any inspection, certificate, quote or work is a contract between you and them — we're not a party to it and don't guarantee their availability, pricing or performance. We take reasonable care to refer only to appropriately licensed or accredited operators, but you should verify credentials directly (state licence registers make this easy).
Accuracy
We work to keep guides current, but we can't guarantee every detail is up to date or applies to your circumstances. Regulatory references reflect our understanding at the time of writing.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, which this doesn't exclude), we're not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site's content or from services provided by third parties we refer you to.
